"Silence" is a compelling comic book that tells the story of a Spanish-speaking young man who migrates to a bustling city. Upon arriving in this new and unfamiliar place, he begins to experience a growing sense of isolation and loneliness due to the language barrier.
Initially, the story unfolds with a high degree of realism, depicting the various situations within the city of Vancouver, where it is set. However, as his feelings of depression and isolation intensify, the narrativegradually takes on a more surreal and abstract quality.
